I'm sure that those who live in Madrid or in the rest of the territory are already organizing something, but I would like to try to sound out beyond the Iberian borders what we think or what we could do, for me it's not just a matter of "not wanting to convert us into merchandise for their wars" as they say at the end of the article, but to make it clear that that deadly war machine called NATO is the enemy to be destroyed, to be annihilated. We all know that this damned Atlantic alliance is only an instrument of oppression and domination over other peoples and countries, we know that the business of wars is now more profitable than any other, we know that the hypocritical "Western democracies" use this organization to blackmail peoples and plunder their resources, we know that capitalism is imploding and that it needs to regenerate and reorganize the world and that the wars that are generated perform these functions.
I would like to make an appeal here, or at least discuss it, to see if in the anarchist and libertarian world we can dare, go to Madrid in those days from wherever we are and face the 25,000 presences of the various security bodies that will armour Madrid. I think my mind takes me to Genoa of the G8 in 2001, there something is broken between all the people who participated and suffered the violence and repression, after Genoa the world of protests and international convergence in the struggle has changed, nothing has had more echo and strength, maybe now is the time to recover, to reorganize, to defend our ideas for another society, for a world almost agonizing and in need of care. Perhaps this is an opportunity that we should not miss, and then we wake up our fighting instincts, we pull out strength and courage, as we have already seen our ancestors do in the Spanish Civil War or in the Commune de Paris or as we see today do by Zapatistas or Kurds. My conscience as an anarchist takes me beyond being internationalist, there is in me the awareness of having to take responsibility and then "do" "act" "fight" to really try to change the system, indeed someone rightly said that the system can not be changed but destroyed and if so, then assume that the struggle for destruction can not be done in any other way than together with brothers and sisters of other countries, because in different countries is always the same system that reigns, devours, destroys, kills. Then, I don't know about you, but I can no longer play the anarchist sitting at the computer, because this tool is also part of the system that wants us passive, helpless, indifferent or resigned.
